    Ajo Balogun is a visionary social impact leader, employability strategist and talent alchemist dedicated to empowering African youth for the future of work.

    As co-founder of Jobred, an employability skills toolkit bridging the gap between education and employment; she has made a significant impact in the lives of thousands of young people.

    She adds value as Country Lead, Nigeria at Power Learn Project Africa; an ambitious ed-tech start-up with an objective to train 1 million software developers Africa-wide. The partnership with the Kenyan brand encapsulates the crucial soft skills with software development skills for work and life success.

    Her career has spanned international development, education, and corporate human resources with early roles at the Ford Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme. She lives and breathes employability for social impact which has shaped her professional journey, leading her to focus on developing youth initiatives for improved livelihoods.

    A Durham University and Yale University alumni and a true talent alchemist she continues to inspire and mobilize a new generation of youth leaders with her passion for innovation and a deep understanding of African markets, she develops cutting-edge strategies to address the complex challenges facing youth employment. A thought leader in the education and tech ecosystem, she is driven by a relentless commitment to empowering African youth for social impact.

    A fitness buff, she enjoys yoga, is mad on tennis, loves jogging and finds her ‘forest bathing’ walking barefoot in her guava and avocado garden; but most of all she adores ‘youthful conversation’ and fitness goals with her ‘two amazing young men’.
